The material
Bianco Filfila sits a half-step warmer than the rest of the whites, and that half-step is the whole point. Under artificial light a cool white drifts towards grey after dark, while this ground keeps its colour — which is why it is specified so often in hotel rooms, spas and any interior that is used mostly in the evening. The movement is fine and cloudy rather than linear, so it tolerates large continuous areas without the eye tracking a direction. It is also the most forgiving white we sell: its warmth hides the tonal drift that would be visible on a colder ground.
